about chf
specializing in affordable housing programs
CRHMFA Homebuyers Fund (CHF) understands how important homeownership is to many individuals and families. We also understand the many challenges facing homebuyers in California, including the difficulties many face coming up with the resources for the associated down payment and/or closing costs on a home purchase.
CHF is a government entity that provides affordable housing finance options for low-to-moderate income individuals and families in California.
Since 1993, CHF has offered homebuyers mortgage loan programs featuring low interest rates and down payment and/or closing cost assistance in a variety of forms. Recently CHF expanded to also provide competitive financing and grants to homeowners interested in making energy efficiency improvements to their home as part of the CHF Residential Energy Retrofit Program.
